The German Innovation Award recognises products and solutions that stand out primarily for their user-centered design and the added value they offer compared to existing solutions.
In particular, the high level of innovation of the vacuum crawler and the resulting environmental, ergonomic and economic benefits were taken into account.
The jury particularly highlighted the versatile and gentle operation of the VC70: the gentle exposure of pipes and roots, the cleaning of sewers and the suction of soil, mud and water are all combined in a compact system. The integrated assistance systems and the remote control, which both significantly reduce physical workload, were also rated positively.
The award was officially accepted on 12th May 2026 in Berlin on behalf of the team by Markus Weiß, Head of Drilling Technology.
