The Red Dot Design Award is one of the greatest design competitions worldwide and is awarded within three categories once-a-year. The self developed fully-electric horizontal drilling rig HDD80-E of STREICHER has won due to its aesthetic and ergonomic design. Moreover, the jury was convinced by the low noise level and the valuable contribution to environmental protection on basis of the fully-electric rig design.

The prize will be officially awarded during the Red Dot Design Week at 20th June 2022 in Essen/Germany.
